Manage your time and you will reduce stress, become more productive and have more free time to enjoy life.

How to organize an area:

  •           Decide the function of each room

  •           De-clutter unnecessary items and sort through items (decide if you will keep, donate or throw out)

  •           Develop and implement systems for better efficiency

  •           Keep it simple

  •           Have the items you use most accessible and create access to stored items

  •           Take advantage of all space (under the bed, on the back of doors, etc.)

Don’t be a pack rat (holding onto everything).

When dealing with paper, make a decision when you first handle it: read it, sort/file or trash it. Don’t put it on a pile, put it in a file.

It is easier to keep up than to catch up.

One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time.

Have a place for everything and immediately return things to that place, not letting them stack up. You will always know where everything is.
