Manage your time and you will reduce stress, become more productive and have more free time to enjoy life.
How to organize an area:
Decide the function of each room
De-clutter unnecessary items and sort through items (decide if you will keep, donate or throw out)
Develop and implement systems for better efficiency
Keep it simple
Have the items you use most accessible and create access to stored items
Take advantage of all space (under the bed, on the back of doors, etc.)
Don’t be a pack rat (holding onto everything).
When dealing with paper, make a decision when you first handle it: read it, sort/file or trash it. Don’t put it on a pile, put it in a file.
It is easier to keep up than to catch up.
One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time.
Have a place for everything and immediately return things to that place, not letting them stack up. You will always know where everything is.
